Syria before War – Jan 2015

Before the repetitive and ugly face of war imposed itself on Syria, I traveled there by bicycle. I passed through the cities of Aleppo, Damascus, Nubl, and their roads. This is one of the oldest places in the world. Sadly, all these scenes have been destroyed. This collection shows Syria just one month before the devastation. If you want to understand the legacy of war, look at these photos and imagine Syria in that moment.
